I turn off my printer restart and push the I and the Wi-Fi sign together now it prints a code and it is saying “ the wireless radio on your hp printer is off” I go online to look at it and my printer is expired?? What??? I need a printer that works I paid with my own money and bought my own ink and purchased my own paper so it should work

Hi @deacelia,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're having a frustrating experience with your HP DeskJet 2723e. Here are some steps to address the issue with the wireless radio being off and the printer showing as expired.
Check Printer Warranty Status:
- Verify Warranty: Go to the HP warranty status page and enter your printer's serial number to check the warranty status. If it's expired, it might explain why you're seeing certain messages, but it shouldn’t affect basic functions like printing or wireless connectivity.
Reset Wireless Settings:
- Reset Network Settings: On your printer, press the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously to reset the wireless settings.
- Reconnect to Wi-Fi: Follow the instructions in your printer's manual to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.
Power Cycle Your Printer:
- Turn Off and Unplug: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Update Firmware: Go to the HP Support website and search for your printer model to check if there are any firmware updates available. Follow the instructions to update if needed.
Factory Reset:
- Perform a Factory Reset: If other steps don’t work, you might need to perform a factory reset. Refer to your printer's manual for the steps, which usually involve navigating through the printer's settings menu.
Verify Ink and Paper:
- Check Ink and Paper: Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly and that there’s paper in the input tray. Sometimes, issues with printing can be related to hardware problems.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
