Hi @phani_pasiali

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To restore your HP OfficeJet 6950 printer on your Android phone after accidentally deleting it, you can follow these steps:

Step 1: Reconnect the Printer

Open HP Smart App:

  • If you don't have it installed, download the HP Smart app from the Google Play Store.

Add the Printer:

  • Open the app and tap the + icon or Add Printer. The app will search for available printers.

Select Your Printer:

  • When the app finds your OfficeJet 6950, select it from the list.

Follow the Prompts:

  • Follow any prompts to reconnect your printer to your Wi-Fi network if needed.

Step 2: Use the Wireless Setup Wizard (if necessary)

If your printer isn’t showing up:

Power On the Printer: Ensure your printer is turned on.

Access Control Panel:

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard.

Select Your Network:

  • Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password if prompted. This will reconnect your printer to the network.

Step 3: Ensure Your Phone is on the Same Network

  • Make sure your Android phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer for them to communicate.

Step 4: Test the Connection

  1. Print a Test Page:
    • From the HP Smart app, try printing a test page to confirm that the connection is working.

Step 5: Reinstall the Printer (if needed)

If the above steps do not work, you may need to reinstall the printer:

Remove the Printer from the HP Smart App:

  • Open the app, tap on the printer you want to remove, and look for an option to delete or remove it.

Restart the App:

  • Close the app and reopen it.

Add the Printer Again:

  • Follow the steps above to add the printer back to the app.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
