My printer is HP ENVY 6000 series All - one - Printer.  I am having problems with it staying connect to my computer and it is an HP Laptop. What must I do to keep it connected?  Sometimes I have to trouble shoot it in order for it to print. Please help me.

@Roshell

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand that your HP printer is not staying connected to the wireless network. Reset the printer and update the firmware to help prevent the issue from happening again in the future.

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  3. Wait 60 seconds.

  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

    NOTE: HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
  5. Wait for the light bar to turn blue-white or white.

  6. Update the printer firmware. For more information, go to Updating or Upgrading the Printer Firmware.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
