Common problems for Connectivity Issues

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am able to print from my computer but not scan or copy.

I have completed the instructions to power off the device unplug from the wall and printer

and I have checked for updates.

Still no response. When copy or scan is selected on the printer the 

screen is stuck in circular motion with no light or ink cartridge movement. 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Let's try a power reset on the printer

 

Reset the product

 

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Wait at least 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the printer.

Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

 

Try and make a copy with the scanner lid up and check if the scanner bar lights up and if it moves.
