Hi @Bettyjane58,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
To resolve the issue of your HP DeskJet 2752e All-In-One Printer not being connected to a network and not displaying its email address, you need to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network and set up HP ePrint. Follow these steps to get your printer connected and obtain its email address:
Step 1: Connect Your Printer to the Wi-Fi Network
Power On the Printer:
- Make sure your printer is turned on.
Activate Wireless Setup Mode:
- Press and hold the Wireless button on your printer for about 3 seconds until the Wireless light starts blinking. This indicates that the printer is in Wireless Setup Mode.
Use HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device from the HP Smart website.
- Open the HP Smart app and click on the Plus sign (+) to add a new printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network. The app will detect the printer in setup mode and guide you through the process of entering your Wi-Fi network credentials.
Step 2: Enable Web Services and Obtain Printer's Email Address
Access Printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Once your printer is connected to the network, you can access its Embedded Web Server (EWS) for additional configuration.
- Find the printer’s IP address: You can usually find this on the printer's control panel or by printing a network configuration page.
- Open a web browser and enter the printer's IP address into the address bar to access the EWS.
Enable Web Services:
- In the EWS, navigate to the Web Services tab.
- Follow the instructions to enable Web Services. This will involve accepting terms of service and allowing the printer to connect to HP’s web services.
Print the Info Page:
- After enabling Web Services, the printer will print an information page that includes the printer's unique email address.
- If this does not happen automatically, you can manually print the info page from the Web Services settings in the EWS.
Step 3: Verify Printer Connection
- Check Network Status:
- Ensure the Wireless light on the printer is steady, indicating that it is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
- You can also print a Network Configuration Page from the printer to verify the connection status.
Step 4: Use HP ePrint
- Send a Print Job via Email:
- Once you have the printer's email address, you can send print jobs to your printer by emailing the documents to this address. Ensure that the documents are in supported formats such as PDF or JPEG.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Restart Devices:
- Restart your printer, router, and computer or mobile device to resolve any temporary connectivity issues.
- Proximity to Router:
- Ensure that the printer is within a reasonable distance from the router to receive a strong Wi-Fi signal.
- Firmware Update:
- Check for and install any firmware updates for your printer through the EWS or HP Smart app. or Click here
By following these steps, you should be able to connect your HP DeskJet 2752e All-In-One Printer to your Wi-Fi network and obtain its email address for HP ePrint.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
