Hi @Donjon47,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 printer is not coming online despite the wireless network test report indicating that the network is OK, it may be due to a few possible reasons. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Check Printer and Computer Connection

  • Verify that the printer is turned on.Ensure the Wi-Fi light on the printer is solid blue, indicating it is connected to the network.
  • Restart both the printer and the computer. Also, restart your Wi-Fi router.

2. Reconfirm Network Connection

  • Go to the printer’s control panel.Print a Wireless Network Test Report to confirm that the printer is still connected to the correct network.

Check Wi-Fi Signal:

  • Ensure the printer is within range of the Wi-Fi router.Avoid placing the printer near large metal objects or devices that emit radio signals (e.g., microwaves).

3. Reconfigure Wireless Settings:

  • On the printer’s control panel, navigate to the wireless settings menu.
  • Select “Wireless Setup Wizard” and follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect the printer to the Wi-Fi network.

4. Update Printer Firmware:

  • Go to the HP Support website and look for any available firmware updates for your printer model.Download and install any available updates.

5. Check Printer Status in Windows

  • Open Control Panel on your computer.Go to “Devices and Printers.”
  • Right-click on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 printer. If the printer is set to “Use Printer Offline,” uncheck this option to bring the printer online.

6. Assign Static IP Address

  • On the printer’s control panel, print the Network Configuration Page to find the current IP address.
  • Open a web browser on your computer and enter the printer’s IP address to access the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
  • Navigate to the network settings and assign a static IP address to the printer.

7. Reinstall Printer Driver

  • Uninstall the existing printer drivers from your computer.
  • Download the latest drivers from the HP Support website.Install the new drivers and add the printer again.

8. Use HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from the HP Support website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
