Hi @ayumi_vh,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode
Restoring your printer to Wi-Fi setup mode allows it to be discovered during the setup in the HP Smart app.
Turn on the Printer:
- Ensure the printer is turned on.
Restore Network Settings:
- For printers with a built-in display: Use the control panel menu to navigate to the Wireless or Network Settings menu, and select Restore Network Settings.
- For printers without a built-in display:
- Press and hold the Wireless button
and the Cancel button simultaneously for 5 seconds until the light starts blinking.
- Press and hold the Wireless button
Set up the Printer using HP Smart App
Next, use the HP Smart app to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Download the HP Smart App:
- Download the HP Smart app from your app store:
Open the HP Smart App:
- Open the app on your mobile device or computer.
Add Printer:
- Click Set Up a New Printer or Add Printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to detect and connect your printer.
Connect to Wi-Fi:
- During setup, select your Wi-Fi network and enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled:
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device so the HP Smart app can detect the printer.
Enable Location Services (Mobile Devices):
- If prompted, enable the mobile device’s location service and allow the app to use your location.
I hope this helps.
