Hi @DaveMO11101,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your printer shows that it’s connected to the Wi-Fi but still won’t print after changing routers, here are some steps you can try:

1. Verify Printer Connection

  • Check Printer Network Settings: Ensure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network (the same network as your computer).

2. Reinstall Printer

  • Remove and Re-add the Printer:
    • Go to your computer’s settings and remove the printer.
    • Re-add it using the printer settings or the HP Smart app.

3. Update Printer Firmware

  • Check for Firmware Updates:
    • Visit the HP support website to see if there are any firmware updates available for your printer.

4. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and Run the Tool: Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix issues automatically. You can download it from the HP website.

5. Check Firewall Settings

  • Adjust Firewall/Antivirus: Sometimes firewall settings can block printer communication. Ensure your firewall or antivirus isn’t blocking the printer.

6. Restart Devices

  • Power Cycle: Turn off the printer, computer, and router. Wait a minute, then turn them back on.

7. Check Network Configuration

  • Confirm IP Address: Make sure the printer has a valid IP address assigned by the router. You can print a network configuration page from the printer's settings to check this.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
