Hi @Tim0244,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To reconnect your HP 7155 printer to your new router, follow these steps:
Steps to Reconnect Your Printer
Check Printer Status:
- Ensure your printer is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi. Look for the wireless light on the printer.
Reset Network Settings:
- On the printer, press the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously to reset network settings.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- Use the printer's control panel:
- Go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Use HP Smart App:
- Download the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer.
- Open the app and follow the prompts to add your printer. It will help you reconnect to the new Wi-Fi network.
Check for Printer Status on the App:
- Ensure the printer shows as online in the HP Smart app.
Print a Network Configuration Page:
- From the printer's control panel, navigate to Setup > Print Reports > Network Configuration. This will show if it’s connected to the correct network.
If Issues Persist
- Restart Devices: Restart your printer, router, and computer.
- Update Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update for your printer via the HP Smart app or HP's website.
- Use USB Connection Temporarily: If needed, connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable to complete any setups.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
