Hi @Tim0244,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reconnect your HP 7155 printer to your new router, follow these steps:

Steps to Reconnect Your Printer

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure your printer is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi. Look for the wireless light on the printer.

Reset Network Settings:

  • On the printer, press the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously to reset network settings.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • Use the printer's control panel:
    • Go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard.
    • Select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

Use HP Smart App:

  • Download the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer.
  • Open the app and follow the prompts to add your printer. It will help you reconnect to the new Wi-Fi network.

Check for Printer Status on the App:

  • Ensure the printer shows as online in the HP Smart app.

Print a Network Configuration Page:

  • From the printer's control panel, navigate to Setup > Print Reports > Network Configuration. This will show if it’s connected to the correct network.

If Issues Persist

  • Restart Devices: Restart your printer, router, and computer.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update for your printer via the HP Smart app or HP's website.
  • Use USB Connection Temporarily: If needed, connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable to complete any setups.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
