Note for common printer problems
Customers receiving the"will damage your computer" message along with others like "unable to access cups/tmp" or "'@%' cannot be opened" need to update their version of the macOS. Please check this article for more information: "HPxxxxx.framework" will damage your computer" message in macOS Catalina or Mojave .

I have an HP printer (HP Officejet Pro 9015) I need to reconnect to my wireless ? to unlock printer

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have HP officejet Pro 9015.  I had phone company out to help me with my wireless and they said my printer is locked and I need reconnect to the wireless..  Is there a way to unlock the printer.   I do not know who or how it was locked.. 

Hope someone can help me.   Thanks.   NE-56

@NE-56 Welcome to HP Community!

 

I understand that you would like to unlock the printer.

 

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.  

  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset, and re-initialized the printer.  

  

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link
