Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP DeskJet 2810e!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue of your HP DeskJet 2810e stopping mid-print:

Check for Error Messages

  • Look at the printer’s LED display or HP Smart app for any error messages or blinking lights. Let me know!

Restart the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for 60 seconds.
  3. Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check the Print Queue

  1. Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  2. Right-click your HP printer and select See what’s printing.
  3. If there are stuck print jobs, click Cancel All Documents.

Check Ink & Paper

  • Low ink levels can cause the printer to stop mid-print. Open HP Smart or the printer software to check ink levels.
  • Ensure there’s enough paper and no paper jams.
  • Remove and reinsert the ink cartridges if needed.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor from the HP website.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to fix common issues.

Update Printer Drivers

  1. Go to Device Manager > Printers.
  2. Right-click HP DeskJet 2810e and select Update driver.
  3. Choose Search automatically for drivers.

Check Network Connection

  • If using Wi-Fi, restart the router and ensure the printer is connected.
  • Try connecting the printer via USB to see if the issue persists.

Reset the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cable for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Plug it back in and power it on.

If the issue still persists, let me know what you’ve tried so far.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
