LaserJet Pro 200 - M276nw Unable To Connect To Wireless Network

This printer has been connected to the same SSID for 2 years and decided it wont connect. I have done trouble shooting...for hours. Is there a chance the WIFI radio is dead?

Hi @chiromaster,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M276nw has been working fine on your wireless network for the past two years and suddenly isn't connecting, it's possible that the Wi-Fi radio could be having issues, but there are other troubleshooting steps you can try before assuming the worst:

1. Restart Devices: Power cycle your printer, router, and computer. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

2. Check Wireless Settings: Ensure that the wireless network settings on the printer are correct and match those of your network (SSID and password).

3. Reconfigure Wireless Setup:

  • Go to the printer's control panel and navigate to the wireless settings.
  • Select "Setup" and then "Wireless Settings."
  • Choose "Wireless Setup Wizard" and follow the prompts to reconnect to your network.

4. Update Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause connectivity issues. You can download the latest firmware from HP's website and follow their instructions to update it.

5. Network Settings: Ensure that your network settings, such as IP address and DNS, are properly configured. If you're using static IP addresses, make sure the settings match what your network requires.

6. Wi-Fi Radio Test: If possible, try printing a network configuration page from the printer. This page might provide clues about the printer's network status and any issues with the Wi-Fi radio.

7. Check for Interference: Ensure there are no new sources of interference near your printer or router, such as other wireless devices or physical obstructions.

8. Reset Network Settings: You can reset the network settings on the printer to default and try setting up the wireless connection again.

9. Factory Reset: If all else fails, perform a factory reset on the printer. This will clear all settings and allow you to start fresh.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
