I have a new router and I cannot reset the wireless connection as it says that this feature has been locked by the person who set up the printer. From previous forum questions I can see that the solution must be sent by private message. Please help and advanced thanks for the help.

Warm Greetings!
Thanks for getting back to me. Hopefully, I am doing this correctly.
My printer is an HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 series and the serial number is: TH0713R090
The IP, in case you need that is: CE-92-F7-76-EC-F1
Please let me know if there is anything else and I look forward to how to remove this very frustrating locked-out message...thank you!

Hi @goodmusicguy,
Thank you for your response,
If the wireless settings are locked, you may need to perform a factory reset on the printer. Please note that a factory reset will erase all the settings on the printer, including wireless settings.
Here are the general steps for a factory reset on the HP OfficeJet Pro 8035.
- Make sure the printer is powered on.
- On the printer control panel, touch or press the "Settings" icon.
- Navigate to "Tools" or "Printer Maintenance" (the exact wording may vary).
- Look for an option like "Restore Factory Defaults" or "Restore Network Settings."
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the reset.
After the factory reset, you'll need to set up the wireless connection again. This typically involves accessing the printer's wireless setup wizard and entering your new Wi-Fi information.
Remember to update your printer drivers and firmware to the latest versions, as this can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
Take care and have a great day ahead!

I hope a real human being receives this....please confirm because the AI here missed the context of my problem.
I have found this solution you present below already online .....BUT I am locked out of getting to the "Restore Factory Defaults" option *because* of the problem I have communicated.....which is, the message that says, "this feature has been locked by the person who set up the printer."
So, to be clear, there is no way to follow these instructions presented here because I am locked out of STEP 4.
Please advise ASAP....many thanks for help to solve this clear glitch in the software....
