Hi @LdyCharle,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds frustrating to have to reinstall your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw every day. Here are a few things you can try to address the issue.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure the printer’s IP address is set to a static IP in your router settings. This prevents the IP from changing, which can cause the printer to appear offline.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Even if you have the latest firmware, make sure your printer drivers are also up-to-date. Visit the HP support website to download the latest drivers for your model.

Power Settings:

  • Verify that the printer’s power-saving settings are not causing it to go offline. Check the printer’s settings menu for any options related to sleep or power-saving modes and adjust as needed.

Network Issues:

  • Check if your printer is losing connection to your network. Ensure that your router is stable and that there are no network issues that could be affecting the connection.

Printer Queue:

  • Sometimes, the print queue can cause issues. Clear any documents in the queue and see if that helps.

Reinstall Printer:

  • Remove the printer from your devices and reinstall it. Sometimes a fresh setup can resolve connectivity issues.

Check for Interference:

  • Ensure there are no other devices or network issues causing interference with your printer's connection.

HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to diagnose and fix common printer problems. It can help identify and resolve connectivity issues.

Router Settings:

  • Ensure your router’s firmware is up-to-date and check if there are any settings that could be affecting the printer’s connection.

Printer Firmware Reset:

  • Sometimes, performing a factory reset on the printer and then updating the firmware again can help resolve persistent issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
