Hi @Bea275,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I understand that you are having printing issues.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e is not printing from your Windows 11 device, several potential issues could be causing the problem, such as driver conflicts, connection issues, or incorrect print settings. Here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

1. Check Printer Connection

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Windows 11 computer.
  • If connected via USB, try using a different USB port or cable.

2. Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to automatically detect and fix common printing issues.
    • Download link: HP Print and Scan Doctor.

3. Set HP 8025e as the Default Printer

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e and click on Set as default.
  • Ensure there are no other printers listed as default or offline.

4. Update or Reinstall the Printer Driver

  • Sometimes printer drivers may become outdated or corrupted. To fix this:
    1. Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
    2. Select the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e and click Remove device.
    3. Go to the HP Support website and download the latest driver for your printer.
      • HP 8025e Driver.
    4. Install the driver, then add the printer again via Settings > Printers & scanners > Add printer.

5. Run Windows Troubleshooter

  • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  • Scroll down to Printer and click Run to let Windows diagnose the issue.

Please find the remaining steps in the next post.

Hi @Bea275 ,

Please find the remaining steps below.

6. Clear the Print Queue

  • A stuck print job might be causing the issue:
    1. Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
    2. Select the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e, then click Open queue.
    3. If there are any jobs stuck, right-click and select Cancel.

7. Check Print Spooler Service

  • Sometimes, the print spooler service can stop working:
    1. Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
    2. Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.
    3. Try printing again.

8. Update Windows 11

  • Ensure that your Windows 11 system is fully updated as compatibility issues can sometimes arise with printing:
    • Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates.

9. Check Firewall or Security Software

  • If you’re using a firewall or security software, it could be blocking the printer. Temporarily disable it to see if printing works.
  • Add the printer as an exception in your security software if it works after disabling.

10. Try Printing from Another Device

  • If possible, test printing from another device (e.g., a smartphone or another computer) to see if the issue is specific to the Windows 11 system.

Tips:

  1. Check the connection between your printer and Windows 11 PC.
  2. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  3. Ensure your HP 8025e is set as the default printer.
  4. Update or reinstall the printer driver.
  5. Run Windows Troubleshooter for printers.
  6. Clear the print queue if necessary.
  7. Restart the Print Spooler service.
  8. Ensure Windows 11 is updated.
  9. Check firewall/security software settings.
  10. Try printing from another device to isolate the issue.

Let me know how it goes or if you need further assistance!
