Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

I have multiple Apple devices (MacBook, iMac, iPad, iPhone).  I have an older HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-in-One Printer and a new out of the box this week HP Smart Tank 7301 All-in-One. Both are AirPrint compatible.  Until recently I could print from any of the Apple devices to the Office Jet via Wi-Fi. However now SmartPrint finds the printer, but is unable to find the network. I have same issue with the SmartTank. Network sharing is enabled on both printers.  I am running the most current OSs on all the Apple devices, updated as soon as updates are released. (I couldn't pick OS 14 above because the drop-down list here does not include it.)  Ditto with Norton 360. I don't know of any other changes that might be relevant.

Hi @FloridaClay,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

This is because these two printers are not compatible with your current Mac OS 14. Click here

Try, a different version of the OS and see if it works.

Well, the reply was certainly helpful, but somewhat along the lines of telling the Titanic passengers the ship was doomed was helfpful. This is way more than disappointing.  I have bought and used HP printers for decades because of excellent support, including driver support.  It is doubly troubling that a band new printer I bought for HP direct just a few days ago won't support the current Mac operating system.  And of course I am not about to roll back the operating systems on all my Apple devices just to get my HP printers to connect on WiFi (something that should be quite simple to fix, by the qay).

Hi @FloridaClay,

We apologize for the inconvenience, but it seems that the issue persists even after attempting the troubleshooting steps mentioned above.

Unfortunately, there are no further actions we can take through this channel. I recommend reaching out to our phone support for further assistance.

This might require one-on-one interaction to fix the issue via remote assistance.
