Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I purchased my HP 8025, I had issues trying to install wirelessly, so just opted to hardwire. Now, years later, I have a need to wirelessly connect to my hub's laptop and have no idea where the connector plug-ins that I "saved" are (somewhere "safe" for later installation hahaha), what they actually are (part name/number), and how to install them if I had them (given problems previously). Help??

Hi @KrakenHockey,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to connect your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 wirelessly, you don’t need any physical connectors.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Ensure Wi-Fi is Enabled

  • Make sure your printer's Wi-Fi feature is turned on. You can usually enable this through the printer's control panel:
    1. On the printer's control panel, tap the Wireless icon.
    2. Select Settings or Network Setup.
    3. Choose Wireless Setup Wizard or Wireless Network Setup.

2. Connect to Your Network

  • Follow the prompts to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the Wi-Fi password. This will connect your printer to your wireless network.

3. Install or Reconfigure Printer Software

  • On your computer:
    1. Go to the HP Support website and download the latest software for the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025.
    2. Run the installer and choose the Wireless connection option during the setup process.
    3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the wireless setup.

4. Add Printer to Your Computer

  • On Windows 10:
    1. Open Settings and go to Devices.
    2. Click on Printers & scanners.
    3. Click Add a printer or scanner. Windows will search for available printers.
    4. Select your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 from the list and follow the prompts to add it.

5. Verify Connectivity

  • Print a test page to ensure everything is set up correctly.

Additional Tips:

  • Reset Network Settings: If you encounter issues, you might want to reset the printer’s network settings and try the wireless setup again.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure your printer's firmware is up-to-date for the best performance. Update the firmware on an HP printer
