Hi @Rxrated86,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Envy Pro 6455 printer is not connected to your Wi-Fi network, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you reconnect it:
**1. Check Basic Connections and Status:
- Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is up and running and that other devices can connect to it.
- On the printer’s control panel, navigate to the network or wireless settings to see if the printer is detecting any networks.
**2. Restart Devices
- Turn off the printer, wait for 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Unplug your router, wait for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
- Restart the device from which you are trying to set up the printer.
**3. Connect Printer to Wi-Fi
On the printer’s control panel, navigate to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard or Wi-Fi Setup.
- The printer will search for available networks. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter your Wi-Fi network password when prompted. Make sure to enter it correctly, including any capitalization.
- Once connected, the printer will usually display a confirmation message or print a network configuration page.
Using HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Open the HP Smart app and click Add Printer or Set Up a New Printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network. The app will guide you through the process and help you input the network credentials.
**4. Use WPS for Easy Setup (if supported)
- Find the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button on your router. It might be labeled "WPS" or have a symbol of two arrows forming a circle.:
- On the printer, go to Setup > Network > WPS and follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the WPS connection.
- Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router. The printer should connect to the network automatically.
**5. Update Printer Firmware
- Ensure your printer has the latest firmware by visiting the HP Support website and searching for your printer model.
- Follow the instructions provided to download and install any available firmware updates.
**6. Reconfigure Network Settings:
- If the printer still cannot connect, you might need to reset its network settings. On the printer, go to Setup > Network > Restore Network Settings.
- After resetting, reconfigure the Wi-Fi connection using the steps provided above.
**7. Check for Interference
- Ensure that the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi network and that there are no significant obstructions or electronic interference.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
