My printer is not registering on my wifi network. I continue to get an error message saying printer offline. I have tried all the troubleshooting, such as switching off my router, but the error is also on my mobile phone. It appears as though my printer is not registered on my own home network IP address. I am only able to print on wifi direct without internet, however as a result of my printer being offline, I will not receive my instant ink.  This issue started a year after my printer, but I have not changed my router, just the password. The issue has caused me so much stress and time, such that I was thinking it would be better to buy another printer than to pay HP to try and resolve this as the phone calls are paid

Hi @TheGringe,

I'd like to help!

To assist better -

  1. What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
  2.  I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?
  3. Is the printer connected to a home or public network?

 Keep me posted.
