Hi @pipepricer,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw printer has stopped taking print instructions from your computer, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. Follow these steps.

Check Printer Connections:

  • Make sure the USB cable connecting the printer to your computer is securely plugged in at both ends.
  • Try using a different USB port on your computer.

Restart Printer and Computer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Shut down your computer.
  • Wait for a few minutes and then turn on the printer and restart your computer.

Check Printer Status:

  • On your computer, go to "Devices and Printers" (you can usually find this in the Control Panel).
  • Look for your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw printer and make sure it is set as the default printer.

Printer Queue:

  • Open the print queue on your computer to see if there are any pending print jobs.
  • If there are, try canceling all print jobs and then try printing again.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Outdated or corrupt printer drivers can cause printing issues. Update your printer drivers to the latest version. You can usually download them from the HP website.
  • If updating the drivers doesn't work, consider uninstalling the current drivers and reinstalling them.

Check for Errors on Printer Display:

  • Look at the printer display for any error messages. If there are error messages, they can provide clues about what might be wrong.

Check for Software Conflicts:

  • Ensure that there are no conflicting software or applications causing issues with the printer. Sometimes, security software or firewalls may interfere with printing.

Try Another USB Cable:

  • The USB cable might be faulty. Try using a different USB cable to connect your printer to the computer.

Check for Hardware Issues:

  • If possible, try connecting the printer to another computer to see if it works. This can help determine if the issue is with the printer or the computer.

Reset Printer Settings:

  • In some cases, resetting the printer settings to default may resolve the issue. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue with your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw printer not accepting print instructions from your computer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
