Hi @Tweetybyrd1226,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To reconnect your HP ENVY 6000e printer to your Android tablet, follow these steps.
Ensure Printer and Tablet Are Ready
- Power on the printer: Make sure the HP ENVY 6000e printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the Android tablet.
- Reset the printer's wireless settings (if needed):
- Hold the Wi-Fi button and the Cancel button on the printer simultaneously for 3 seconds or until the power light blinks.
- This puts the printer into Setup Mode for reconnection.
Download the HP Smart App
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android tablet.
- Search for HP Smart and download the app.
- Open the app and sign in or create an HP account if required.
Add the Printer in HP Smart
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Android tablet (for initial setup).
- Open the HP Smart app, and tap the + sign or Add Printer.
- The app should detect your HP ENVY 6000e printer automatically. If it doesn't, tap Set Up a New Printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to the Wi-Fi network.
Test the Connection
- Once the setup is complete, print a test page from the HP Smart app to confirm the connection.
- If the printer does not appear, restart both the printer and the tablet and try again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
