Hi @Jack539

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reconnect your HP Envy 6000 printer to a new Wi-Fi network, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the HP Smart App

Download the HP Smart App:

  • If you don’t have it yet, download the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store, Apple App Store, or Google Play Store.

Open the HP Smart App:

  • Make sure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the new Wi-Fi network.

Add Your Printer:

  • Open the app and tap on the "+" sign or "Add Printer."
  • Follow the prompts to add your printer. It should detect the printer if it’s in setup mode.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • When prompted, select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

Method 2: Using the Printer Control Panel

Power On the Printer:

  • Make sure your printer is turned on.

Access the Settings:

  • On the printer’s control panel, press the Home button (if available).
  • Navigate to the Setup or Wireless menu.

Select Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • Choose Wireless Setup Wizard. The printer will search for available networks.

Select Your Network:

  • When your new Wi-Fi network appears in the list, select it.

Enter the Password:

  • Enter your Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard and confirm.

Method 3: Using WPS (if supported)

Check Your Router:

  • Ensure your router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup). Look for a button labeled WPS.

Start WPS on the Printer:

  • On the printer control panel, navigate to the Wireless menu and select WPS.

Press the WPS Button:

  • Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router. The printer should connect automatically.

Method 4: Reset Network Settings (if needed)

If you're having trouble reconnecting:

  1. Reset the Printer’s Network Settings:
    • Go to the printer’s settings menu and look for an option to reset network settings.
    • After resetting, try one of the connection methods again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
