Hi @STEVE838,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing issues with the Wi-Fi connectivity on your OfficeJet Pro 9010 printer, including no indication of Wi-Fi activity (no blue light) and error messages regarding Ethernet connectivity. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
Check the Wireless Module:
- Ensure that the wireless module is properly enabled in the printer settings. Sometimes, resetting to factory settings might not restore the wireless functionalities properly.
Inspect the Physical Connections:
- Even though it's primarily a Wi-Fi issue, make sure the printer is properly connected to power and that there are no loose connections. A disconnected or faulty power supply can sometimes cause the Wi-Fi module not to activate.
Firmware Update:
- Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. An outdated firmware can lead to connectivity issues. You can typically check this from the printer's control panel or by logging into the printer's web interface through an Ethernet connection.
Check Network Settings:
- Review the network settings to ensure that the printer is configured to use the correct network settings. Since you reset the printer, double-check these settings as they would revert to default.
Re-Enable Wireless Settings:
- Go to the printer’s control panel and navigate to the wireless settings. There might be an option to turn on the wireless manually. Look for the Wi-Fi icon or a menu related to wireless configurations.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
