Officejet 8600 pro
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I'm getting the same issue that I've seen many people have on here. My Officejet 8600 pro has been connected to my ASUS router for years and all of a sudden a few months back it lost it's connection and will not connect. It keeps saying that the WPA password is incorrect. I have done the following:

Made sure the password is correct.

Restored the printers default settings.

Tried switching from WPA2 to WPA and it still says the password is wrong.

Made sure my router was updated to the latest firmware.

The only thing that has worked is setting my router to an open network. It connects immediately then but I obviously don't want to leave my network open.

I have seen switching the encryption from WPA2 to WPA fixes the issue for some people, but it doesn't fix it for me.

If anyone can please help it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
