Photosmart D110 drops wireless connection in energy saving mode

HP Recommended
Photosmart D110

My HP Photosmart D110 appears to drop the wireless connection in energy savings mode.
Is this normal?
Does it need to be kept out of energy savings mode to maintain the connection?

Every time that I go to print I have to re-select the network and then re-enter the password.

Is there someway for the printer to simply remember this information?

Since the connection is dropped, it also can't wake up when there is a new print job.

I would really like to fix this.

@Grcutter, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Ensure the energy-saving settings are set to the maximum which is the sleep mode settings.

Also, assign manual IP to the printer-

The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here.

For the DNS servers please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers.

If you still have issues, use the guided troubleshooter Troubleshooting | Wireless Printing Center for instruction to isolate and resolve the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
