HP Laser Jet Pro M402dw

When I try to print a single check from the feeder, my printer asks me to insert a USB device.  Then it prints an instruction page or a stored print job.  Not sure how to clear or reset the printer.

I turned it on and off, but that did not help.

First thing to check is your driver as that is how a stored job is "enabled".  It might appear one of two ways depending on driver set you have installed. On your PC go to control panel>devices and printers and right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties" from the drop down menu. Go do device settings and disable job storage. Two possible driver views posted below to assist you.
