I have recently changer my internet provider and my router is in another room. Also my ususl laptop has a fault so I tried to put the HP Smart App on my other laprop a Dell Inspirion. Thr Hp Smart App does not recognize my printer there are no printers showing on the list. I have tried rebooting the prdinter unplugging it etc but nothing works it just wont connect??

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

I'd like to help!

 

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.

Make sure the router is closer to your printer not more than 5-10ft away. 

Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only. 

 

Meanwhile, perform the steps from this document and see how it goes. 

 

If that does not fix the issue, We need to perform a reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
