Product: OfficeJet Pro 8710

My printer crashes (flashing lights and instructions to power cycle) every time I try to install a new X.509 certificate. I am using the option to upload the private key and certificate as a PKCS #12 file.

 

I have also tried to create a certificate using a CSR generated by the printer. That certificate will install successfully, but the certificate itself is invalid (at least according to Chrome) because the CSR did not include a Subject Alternative Name. Chrome started requiring a SAN in v58 (2017), so this should have been addressed a while ago.
