Hi @Animosity19,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you've tried quite a few troubleshooting steps. Since your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 printer's display is unavailable in the HP Print app,
here are some additional steps to help resolve the issue:
1. Ensure Compatibility
Make sure your HP Print app is compatible with your printer model and is updated to the latest version.
2. Check Network Connection
Ensure both your printer and your laptop are connected to the same WiFi network. Sometimes, connecting to a different WiFi band (2.4 GHz vs. 5 GHz) can cause connectivity issues.
3. Restart Devices
Although you've tried this, it's worth reiterating:
- Turn off your printer, router, and laptop.
- Unplug the router for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the router back in and wait for it to fully power up.
- Turn on your printer and wait for it to connect to the network.
- Turn on your laptop.
4. Reinstall the HP Print App
Uninstall the HP Print app from your laptop, then download and install the latest version from the HP website or the Microsoft Store.
5. Use HP Print and Scan Doctor HP Print and Scan Doctor
HP provides a tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor, which can diagnose and fix various printing and scanning issues.
- Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor on your laptop.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to identify and resolve the issue.
6. Check Printer IP Address
Ensure your printer has a valid IP address and is connected to the network:
- On the printer control panel, go to Network or Wireless Settings to view the IP address.
- Open a web browser on your laptop and type in the printer's IP address to see if the Embedded Web Server (EWS) page opens. If it does, your printer is connected to the network.
7. Firewall/Antivirus Settings
Sometimes, firewall or antivirus software can block communication between your devices:
- Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your laptop and see if the printer becomes available in the app.
- If it works, add an exception for the HP Print app in your firewall or antivirus settings.
8. Update Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer
Ensure your printer firmware is up to date:
- Go to Settings on the printer control panel.
- Navigate to Printer Maintenance or Tools.
- Select Update the Printer or Printer Updates.
9. Assign a Static IP
Assign a static IP address to your printer to ensure it remains connected to your network:
- Access the printer's EWS page using its IP address.
- Go to Network > IPv4 Configuration > Manual IP.
- Assign a static IP address that is outside the DHCP range of your router.
10. Factory Reset
As a last resort, perform a factory reset on your printer:
- On the printer control panel, go to Settings > Printer Maintenance or Tools.
- Select Restore or Reset > Restore Factory Defaults or Reset All Settings.

I hope this helps.
