OfficeJet 5258
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello,
I have an HP All-in-One 5258 Officejet printer.
All last week, I had problems trying to print and scan to this device. I had someone work on it. It was restarted, reloaded, had a static IP set up for it, and it still had problems staying online. The Doctor does work for the device, but not all of the time and that is only after unplugging the device for about 10 seconds. And that doesn't even work all the time.
It will print using Direct, but it won't scan. And once that was set up, it wouldn't go away. So, that is now disabled.
Auto-off is set to 2 hours and can't be changed.
So, it doesn't really seem like the printer CAN stay online. It's very frustrating.
Any ideas other than to get a new printer or take out my frustration on this one?
