Printer is Wifi connected to my new router, but it will not acknowledge IP address, so no printing!

Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I just switched ISP's from Spectrum to AT&T.  The new AT&T gateway is an Arris BGW210.  All of my wireless devices switched over to AT&T just fine, except my HP Deskjet 2540.  The printer has a network connection but for some reason the AT&T gateway is not allowing a connection with the printer's IP address, so they do not connect for wifi printing.  I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling the HP software, no luck.  I've tried a reset on the printer, no luck.  AT&T support says it's an HP printer software issue that does allow the printer IP address to be accepted.  I have tried all options, nothing.  Current status:  I have a blinking wifi button on the printer and no ability to print wirelessly or with a USB connection direct to my laptop.  Anyone???  Or will I need to pay $50 to someone to fix it and then ask AT&T to refund me!

@CD56

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

The HP Deskjet 2540 series only supports connections using 2.4GHz.

Make sure your new connection is on that.

Let me know if this helps.
