I have moved address and wish to add the new wifi to my printer (laptop alrady set up with the new wifi), but there is no way of doing this with my printer as there is no control panel. I have uninstalled the HP smart app, reinstalled and tried to do a fresh set up. The laptop finds the printer, recognises it then states to configure it, then it states an unexceptional error has occured and I have to exit the set up.
Now I have a wireless printer that cannot connect wirelessly. I have some very important documents to print and cannot do so.
Why do you make it so difficult to actualy use your products?

@User_8600423, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I’m really sorry to hear about the trouble you’re facing with reconnecting your HP ENVY 6032e printer to Wi-Fi after moving. I understand how frustrating this must be, especially when you need to print important documents urgently. Let’s get this sorted out step by step.
Since the HP ENVY 6032e doesn’t have a traditional control panel, you’ll need to use Wi-Fi Setup Mode to reconnect it:
Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode (Recommended)
Reset Wi-Fi Settings on the Printer:
- Make sure the printer is powered on.
- Press and hold the Wireless button (📶) and the Cancel button (❌) on the printer together for 5 seconds.
- This will restore the printer to Wi-Fi Setup Mode (the wireless light should start blinking blue).
Use HP Smart App to Reconnect:
- Open the HP Smart app on your laptop. HP Smart
- Click “Set up a new printer”.
- The app should now detect your printer in setup mode.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your new Wi-Fi network.
Tip: Make sure your laptop is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to use.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
