Deskjet 2630
macOS 10.15 Catalina

This printer has connected to MacOS and Windows machines for years. Last week it stopped connecting.

I have done all the resetting required (printer, computer and router).

I ran HP Smart and it connected to the printer and connected the printer to the correct WiFi network.

However HP Smart has gotten stuck at the point where it says "Setup is almost complete!" It wants me to:

1. Select Printers & Scanners below to open your system preferences. This screen will remain open in the background.

2. Select the "+" button at the bottom of the Printers list.

3. Select the version of your printer that does not have "DIRECT" in the name.

4. When the installation finishes, return to this screen and select Continue.

When I Select the "+" button nothing comes up in the list of printers, no matter how many time I retry.

Can anyone help?
