HP Officejet 9025

My HP Officejet 9025 printer has suddenly stopped connecting to wifi. It is usually fine, but now it keeps insisting that no ethernet cable is connected (I've never had one) and isn't giving me any wifi connection options at all when I go into settings. I have tried switching it off and on again several times, disconnecting the powercable for 10 seconds, disconnecting power cable and the internet for 10 seconds and rebooting, resetting network settings and resetting factory settings - still the same ethernet failure message and no option to override this in favour of wifi!  It just decided to do this on its own with no reason and I'm going mad trying to get it to connect to the internet so I can print and scan!

@KDavs, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

If there are no ethernet cables connected to the printer, we will have to reset the printer to its factory settings.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
