Hi @sabertooth10,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
1. Check the Printer Queue:
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your HP OfficeJet 9012e printer icon and select See what's printing.
- Ensure there are no stuck print jobs in the queue. If there are, right-click and Cancel all documents.
2. Restart Printer and Computer:
- Turn off your printer and computer.
- Wait for about 60 seconds before turning them back on.
- Try printing again.
3. Check Printer Connections:
- Verify that the printer is properly connected to your computer via USB or Wi-Fi.
- Ensure the printer and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
4. Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor from the HP Support website.
- This tool can help diagnose and fix many common printing and scanning problems.
5. Update Printer Drivers:
- Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your HP OfficeJet 9012e.
- Install the updated drivers on your computer.
6. Set the Printer as Default:
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click the HP OfficeJet 9012e printer and select Set as default printer.
I hope this helps.
