@theBeard17, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Wi-Fi Connection Issues with Your HP Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your printer won't connect to your Wi-Fi network and keeps indicating that the Wi-Fi password is incorrect, you can follow these steps to try resolving the issue:

Steps to Reconnect Your HP Printer to Wi-Fi:

Confirm Wi-Fi Password:

Printer and Router Placement:

  • Place the printer within 8 meters (26 feet) of the router to ensure a strong signal.
  • Avoid obstacles between the printer and router such as walls or metal objects.

Restore Network Settings:

  • For printers with a control panel display, reset the wireless settings by opening the Wireless or Setup menu and selecting "Restore Network Settings."

Use the Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • Access the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer if it has a touchscreen. You can do this by navigating to the setup menu and selecting Wireless Setup Wizard.

Use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup):

  • Many routers allow you to connect devices using WPS:
    • Press the WPS button on your router.
    • Within 2 minutes, press the wireless button on the printer.

Check Connection Status:

  • Ensure the wireless signal is enabled on the printer. The wireless light should be solid (not blinking).

Restart All Devices:

  • Restart your router, printer, and the computer or device trying to print.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
