@Chick1014, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

The routers are probably not configured in bridge mode. It likely has double NAT issue which means multiple routers are handing out IP addresses and causes a conflict. Bridge mode means the router acts as purely an access point and not a router.

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
  • This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Sorry for the late reply but I’ve just checked on my hp laptop and it seems to be running on 5GHz network band, but what about my other devices like my iPhones,macs & iPads as they are not connecting either?

@Chick1014

Did you check if the printer is on the 2.4GHz network?

The device that you are trying to connect to the printer should also be on the 2.4GHz network.

Also, make sure both the devices are connected to the same SSID.

Let me know how this goes.
