Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

We got a new modem/router and everything connects except our TopShot Laser Jet Pro m275.  The wireless Network test Report indicates that the wireless is on and working.  However, it states that "Your wireless router requires a WPA security passphrase,  The passphrase configured on your HP printer does not match exactly."  I have reentered it numerous times and have also tried to connect numerous times using the WPS button on the router/modem. It also states that the WPA authorization method has been changed from the default setting, which may cause problems connecting to the wireless network.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
