HP Recommended
Product: Officejet Pro L7580
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I've installed both options above, HP Scan Extended and HP Scan and Capture.  I prefer HP Scan Extended because it offers more control and is more intuitive than the Microsoft option.  However, the old HP Solution Center had more functions than just scanning.  I had a list of faxes sent, and whether or not they were actually received, for example.  I don't remember everything HP Solution Center did beyond scans and faxes, because I didn't use it often--but I used it.  It had an address book for all my fax numbers.  Now it won't open.  Is there a way to find the other functions?

Now trying to get the endless volume of comment emails stopped, hoping to be able to uncheck the original option to receive them. Silly me, I thought that HP might post a better solution. . . .

 

Aha!  Delete the thread under My Settings, under My Subscriptions.
