Have the same problem (mine is an M29w) the only options i see for connecting with USB and then changing to wireless are for Windows or IOS)

I have it connected via USB but can find no option for changing to wireless that suits an ANDROID unit.

If anybody gets a red hot answer I would be most appreciative.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are trying to connect the printer to the wireless network and set up the printer.

Yes, you can convert USB to Wireless network only using Windows or Mac computers.

However, you can use the HP Smart app to connect and set up the printer on an Android device.

Refer the steps mentioned in this HP document to set up the printer:- Click here

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
