My printer will not print because HP wants me to extend my expired warranty. I get a message that there is an issue with my account and this is the only issue that I am able to find. I am not interested in renewing the warranty and there is no option for not renewing. Therefore, I want to remove it from my service account. If I do this, will the printer still work or does it have to be connected to my HP account?

Hi @TessC57,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are looking for help in removing your printer from HP account.

You can remove your printer from HP account but if you are using HP smart app to print.

Then removing the printer will disconnected the printer from the device you are using to print.
