Hi @estover45,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To reset your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M29w to its factory settings, follow these steps.
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the Resume/Cancel button.
- While holding down the Resume/Cancel button, turn on the printer.
- Continue to hold the button until the Attention light turns on (about 5 seconds).
- Release the Resume/Cancel button.
- Press and release the Resume/Cancel button two times.
- The printer will start the reset process and the Attention light will blink.
- Wait until the Attention light turns off (about 2-3 minutes) and then turn off the printer.
- Wait a few seconds and then turn the printer back on. The printer has been reset to its factory settings.
Note: Resetting the printer to its factory settings will erase all the settings and configurations. You will need to set up the printer again after the reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
