Hi @estover45,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reset your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M29w to its factory settings, follow these steps.

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Press and hold the Resume/Cancel button.
  3. While holding down the Resume/Cancel button, turn on the printer.
  4. Continue to hold the button until the Attention light turns on (about 5 seconds).
  5. Release the Resume/Cancel button.
  6. Press and release the Resume/Cancel button two times.
  7. The printer will start the reset process and the Attention light will blink.
  8. Wait until the Attention light turns off (about 2-3 minutes) and then turn off the printer.
  9. Wait a few seconds and then turn the printer back on. The printer has been reset to its factory settings.

Note: Resetting the printer to its factory settings will erase all the settings and configurations. You will need to set up the printer again after the reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
