Returning to factory default HP Laserjet MFP 135 W

HP Recommended
HP Laserjet MFP 135 W

I have an  HP Laserjet MFP 135 W. I would like to reconnect it to  my home wireless network, and need to return to the factory defalult configuration to reconnect to the network again.  I have pressed simultaneously for 20 seconds the blue antenna and the cancel buttons. However, my tablet could not detect the printer via the HP smart app. What can I do? Many thanks for your help

@BAM35, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are trying to connect the printer wirelessly.

Refer to - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) to connect the printer.

  • Make sure the printer and the Tablet are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.

To restore to factory settings, refer to - Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
