I’m trying to set up my house laser 107w printer but I can’t proceed as it’s asking for a password. I haven’t set a password up yet, so can’t get pass this stage.

Where is it asking you to enter the password? Kindly attach a picture of the same in your next post for better assistance.
Are you trying to connect the printer to a wireless network?
In this case, you have to use the wireless network's password.
