Someone else printing on my printer

How do I keep someone else from printing on my printer.  I live in an apartment complex where network is shared.

The easier option - maybe - is to tell people not to use your printer.

If you have not done so, learn about Wi-Fi Direct

Wi-Fi Direct is an ad-hoc connection between your printer and your computer without the use of a router.

Decide whether that option will work for your situation.
