Hi @Janniemarais,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.
When the Wi-Fi light on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9013 All-In-One Printer is off and the printer shows as offline, it indicates that the printer is not connected to the Wi-Fi network. Here are the steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
1. Check Printer and Network Status
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off your printer, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Check if the Wi-Fi light turns on.
Restart Your Router:
- Turn off your router, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Wait for the router to fully restart and check if the printer connects to the Wi-Fi.
Move the Printer Closer to the Router:
- Ensure that the printer is within a reasonable range of your Wi-Fi router.
- Avoid physical obstructions or electronic interference between the printer and the router.
2. Reconnect the Printer to the Wi-Fi Network
Method 1: Using the Printer's Control Panel
Access the Wireless Setup Wizard:
- On the printer’s control panel, press the Wireless button or touch the Wireless icon to open the Wireless menu.
- Select Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard.
Follow the On-Screen Instructions:
- The printer will search for available Wi-Fi networks.
- Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted.
Confirm Connection:
- Once connected, the Wi-Fi light should turn on.
- Print a network configuration page to confirm the connection (usually available in the Wireless menu or through the Information button).
Kindly check the next set of steps in the next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
