If your HP Envy 5070 printer is not connecting to your new router and you cannot print from your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

From the Printer Control Panel:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Wireless or Network settings.

  • Follow the prompts to select your new wireless network and enter the network password.

Check Connection Status:

  • Print a Wireless Network Test Report from the printer's control panel to check the connection status.

2. Restart Devices

Restart your printer, router, and iOS devices (iPhone and iPad).

  1. Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Turn off your router and unplug it for about 30 seconds.
  3. Restart your iPhone and iPad.
  4. Plug in and turn on your router.
  5. Plug in and turn on your printer.

3. Update Printer Firmware

Ensure that your printer firmware is up to date.

  1. From the printer's control panel, go to Settings or Setup.
  2. Look for an option like Printer Maintenance or Update.
  3. Check for firmware updates and install any available updates.

4. Check Printer Settings on iOS Devices

Ensure that your iPhone and iPad are connected to the same wireless network as your printer.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.

Hi @DG111954,

Please find the next set of steps below.

5. Reinstall the Printer on iOS Devices

Remove and reinstall the printer on your iPhone and iPad.

  1. On iPhone or iPad:
    • Go to Settings > Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
    • Open the HP Smart app. If you don’t have it, you can download it from the App Store.
    • In the HP Smart app, tap the + icon to add a new printer.
    • Follow the prompts to add your HP Envy 5070 printer.

6. Check for HP Smart App Updates

Ensure that the HP Smart app is up to date.

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to Updates and check if there is an update available for the HP Smart app.
  3. If an update is available, install it.

7. Reset Network Settings on Printer

Perform a network reset on the printer to clear any previous network configurations.

  1. On the printer's control panel, go to Settings or Setup.
  2. Select Network or Wireless settings.
  3. Choose Restore Network Settings or Reset Network Settings.
  4. After resetting, reconnect the printer to your new wireless network using the Wireless Setup Wizard.

8. Check Router Settings

Ensure that your router is not blocking the printer.

  1. Access your router settings through a web browser (usually by entering the router's IP address).
  2. Check the connected devices list to see if the printer is listed.
  3. Ensure that there are no restrictions or MAC address filtering blocking the printer from connecting.

If the issue persists, consider contacting HP support for further assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
