Hi @Bikebob ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To print from your Android phone to an HP LaserJet Pro M255dw connected to your Windows 10 desktop via USB, you can use various methods, such as Google Cloud Print or the HP Print Service Plugin. Here's a general guide:

Method 1: Google Cloud Print

Set Up Google Cloud Print on Windows:

  • Open Google Chrome on your Windows 10 desktop.
  • In the top right, click on the three dots, then go to "Settings."
  • Scroll down and click on "Advanced."
  • Under "Printing," click on "Google Cloud Print."
  • Click on "Manage Cloud Print devices."
  • Make sure your printer is listed. If not, add it by clicking "Add Printers."

Connect Google Account to Android:

  • On your Android device, go to "Settings."
  • Scroll down and select "Google" or "Accounts."
  • Add your Google account if not already added.

Print from Android:

  • Open the document or file you want to print on your Android device.
  • Tap on the three dots or share icon, then select "Print."
  • Choose your printer from the list.

Method 2: HP Print Service Plugin

Install HP Print Service Plugin on Android:

  • Go to the Google Play Store on your Android device.
  • Search for "HP Print Service Plugin" and install it.

Enable HP Print Service Plugin:

  • Open "Settings" on your Android device.
  • Go to "Connections" or "Connections & Network."
  • Select "Printing" or "Print."
  • Turn on "HP Print Service Plugin."

Print from Android:

  • Open the document or file you want to print on your Android device.
  • Tap on the three dots or share icon, then select "Print."
  • Choose your HP printer from the list.

Ensure that your Windows 10 desktop is turned on and connected to the printer. Additionally, both your Android device and Windows desktop should be connected to the same network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
