Hi @Peter7754,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're experiencing difficulties with setting up your HP DeskJet 2710e printer and activating HP+. The error code OW-4XX-OWSWSOOOO1 suggests an issue with registering the printer to your account.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet. Since you mentioned that Wi-Fi is working, make sure the connection is stable. You may want to restart your router or try connecting the printer to a different Wi-Fi network to see if the issue persists.

Verify HP Account Credentials: Double-check the credentials you are using to log in to your HP account. Make sure the username and password are correct. If you are unsure, try resetting your password through the HP account recovery process.

Printer Firmware Update: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Check the HP support website for the latest firmware for your printer model and follow the instructions to update it.

Printer Reset: Try resetting the printer to its default settings. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

HP Smart App: Consider using the HP Smart app for printer setup and management. It often provides additional tools for troubleshooting and managing your printer.

Proxy or Firewall Settings: If you are using a proxy or firewall, make sure that they are not blocking the communication between the printer and HP servers.

Please follow the steps mentioned in this document: HP printers - 'We're sorry, something went wrong error

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
