Hi @JB643,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To reconnect your HP Envy printer to a new Wi-Fi network, you'll need to reset the printer's network settings and then reconnect it to the new network. Here’s a step-by-step guide.
Reset the Printer’s Network Settings
- Turn on your printer.
- Access the Settings Menu:
- On the printer's control panel, go to the "Setup" or "Settings" menu. This is usually represented by a gear icon.
- Reset Network Settings:
- Navigate to "Network" or "Wireless Settings."
- Select "Restore Network Settings" or "Restore Network Defaults."
- Confirm the reset if prompted.
Reconnect the Printer to the New Wi-Fi Network
- Access the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard:
- Go back to the "Network" or "Wireless Settings" menu.
- Select "Wireless Setup Wizard" or "Wi-Fi Setup Wizard."
- Select Your New Wi-Fi Network:
- The printer will search for available networks. Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter the Wi-Fi Password:
- Enter your new Wi-Fi network password using the printer's touchscreen or buttons.
- Confirm Connection:
- Once connected, the printer should display a confirmation message or a Wi-Fi icon on the control panel.
Reconnect the Printer to Your Devices
- On your computer or mobile device, open the HP Smart app or go to the printer settings.
- Add a New Printer:
- Follow the prompts to add your printer to the new network.
Test the Connection
- Print a test page to ensure the printer is correctly connected to your new Wi-Fi network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
